Ripple is one of the most beautiful does I have bred
myself. She is another doe that is long, tall, and very dairy. She has emaculate spacing in the ribs and a deep,
wedge shaped body. In general appearance, the length and level top line only accents the increasing barrel depth.
The level top line also blends into an equally level and flat rump. The mammary system is proportional to her body size
and has only gotten better since her first freshening. One large improvement is the side profile view of the udder.
The rear udder has filled nicely and completes the 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 view.
Ripple has traveled extensively to many competitive
shows including Chehalis, Boise, Oregon State Fair, Spokane Interstate, and Yakima; only to name a few. She has
actually given our doe Abby a run for the money in some placings. They have switched placings quite a few times during
the show season.
Ripple is the offspring from Rival, a spotlight sale
consignment in 2002 from the Celtic-Knot and Joyful-Morn Herd. The bloodlines have proved to be excellent in the show
ring and through our DHIA testing. In the coming years Ripple should improve to be an elegant doe that will be hard
to beat in the show ring.
